Update your iPhone & iPod Touch to iOS4 Now

Install the latest mobile operating system from Apple Inc - iOS4 on your iPhone 3G, 3Gs and the iPod Touch.

Step 1 : Download and install iTunes 9.2 (latest) on your PC/Mac

Step 2: After installing the iTunes 9.2, connect your iPhone/iPod to your system with the USB cable. iTunes will now launch.

Step 3 (Optional) : Back up all your iPhone/iPod Touch data to your Hard Drive with the Backup feature. We need to be prepared for everything.

Step 4: Select your device from the iTunes sidebar. A page with update options will come up. Click on Check for Updates

Step 5 : iTunes will tell you that the update in available now and will guide you through the rest of the firmware process.
